Bosnian Genocide
In April 1992 the Yugoslav republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina declared independence from Yugoslavia. In the following years Bosnian Serb forces and the Yugoslav army targeted Bosniak ( Bosnian Muslims) and Croatian civilians. Some 100,000 people were killed by 1995, 80% of which were Bosniak, making it the worst act of genocide since the second World War.
